Do you have a new headset, speaker or other Huawei product? Then you may need the Huawei AI Life mobile app to update the device’s firmware and use all its features. We can’t find this app in the Play Store, but it’s still available in the Apple AppStore. There are multiple ways to download the app to Android.
Download AI Life from the web without needing AppGallery
It used to be that you needed to download and install the entire Huawei AppGallery app store. Today, this is not necessary and you can just download Huawei AI Life to manage your handsets separately. The app can already automatically check for and download updates if necessary and there is no need to log in. Once installed, it is immediately ready to connect your headphones or speaker.
- Download APK file AI Life from AppGallery website
- After downloading the APK file, I recommend you go to the File Manager, open the internal storage of your mobile and open the „Download“ folder.
- In the folder, run the AI Life APK file, install and ignore any notifications.

Downloading AI Life and AppGallery
Huawei has its own AppGallery app store. In it, of course, it also offers its other mobile apps, and this applies specifically to AI Life. If you don’t want to experiment with another content download service, I recommend using the process above.
- Download the AppGallery installation APK in this link.
- After successfully downloading the APK file, I recommend going to the File Manager application. There, open the internal storage of your mobile and the „Download“ folder.
- Run and install the downloaded AppGallery APK file. You will need to enable all permissions and possibly ignore warnings.
- After installing AppGallery, launch or enable permissions and search for AI Life at the top.
- Download, install and launch the AI Life app.
What to do with Google Play Protect message?
Google doesn’t like you installing apps and games outside of the Play Store. It’s actually logical, because some users download some pretty dodgy apps and can put their phone in danger. I have tested both AI Life and AppGallery apps for years and never had a problem with them.
